Orthodox prayer service for the Russian national team at the Universiade 2017 in Taipei is celebrated.

By the request of the Russian team on the international Universiade 2017 in Taipei, the rector of the Holy Cross Orthodox parish in Taipei, Father Cyril Shkarboul held a prayer service in the Olympic Village. Divine services for Orthodox athletes from different countries will be celebrated by the Orthodox parish of Russian Church in Taibei every day. The Universiade Committee provided the Russian Orthodox Church with a spacious room for use for the spiritual needs of athletes.
