Book Presentation

Patriarchal Council for Culture Russian Orthodox Church with assistance from Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the Hong Kong SAR and the Russian Club in Hong Kong is pleased to announce the Presentation of the Book written by Metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhov Tikhon (Shevkunov) «Everyday Saints and Other Stories» published in Chinese.

The Presentation will take place on Monday 18nd of February 2019 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The book will be presented by the Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for culture, metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhov Tikhon (Shevkunov). 

«Everyday Saints and Other Stories» was first published in Russian in 2011 and since then the book has been translated into ten languages. In 2012 the book received a “Book of the year” award in the nomination “The prose of the year”.

The author of the book is metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhov Tikhon (Shevkunov), Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for culture, member of the Presidential Council for culture and art in the Russian Federation.
