Consecration of the Icon of Our Lady of Hong Kong

The consecration of the icon of our Lady of Hong Kong will take place in the Church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul. This icon is painted in honor of the Most Holy Theotokos as patroness of Hong Kong. Funds for writing this icon are collected around the world - in Hong Kong, China, Russia, Europe, the United States. A significant part of the funds was collected by Orthodox believers in Germany in memory of the first rector of the Orthodox church in Hong Kong, archpriest Dimitry Uspensky.
The icon of the Hong Kong Mother of God was painted in St. Petersburg by the icon painter Dimitri Selivanov, who previously painted for our church the image of the holy hieromartyr Mitrofan of China. We invite everyone on May 20 after the end of the Sunday Divine Liturgy to take part in the consecration of the icon of the  Mother of God of Hong Kong.
