95 years of Harbin diocese

The memorable date commemorated in Hong Kong

On 24 of March 1922  by the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Tikhon, Orthodox diocese was established in Harbin. It was headed by Archbishop Methody ( Mauritius Lvovich Gerasimov).

This memorable day will be commemorated in Orthodox Church of Hong Kong with celebration of memorial service followed by prayers for the first Harbin bishop and the Orthodox clergy of Harbin.
